My doctor thinks I might have an ectopic pregnancy because last Wednesday my HCG was 5600 but my Progesterone was 3.4 so he had me come back in Friday for more blood work and to start Progesterone Suppositories. My question is if it was Ectopic wouldn't I be in a lot of pain and having bleeding? I have cramps in the morning then go to the bathroom and I'm fine. If it was ectopic why is he waiting 2 week to do an ultrasound? If we find out its ectopic do they go in right away and remove it or would I have to schedule a procedure? I don't understand his thinking at all.
