Does anyone know when you get properly referred too midwife at hospital , at the moment at 9 weeks you just get sent to early pregnancy unit

In Australia you see your normal doctor until 20 weeks and then you start seeing a midwife or OB at the hospital for the remainder of the pregnancy (:

Depends where you are because I had to do a self referral in England

I'm not sure where you are but I'm in Canada and I saw my doctor until my referral at 15 weeks and now I see the baby doctor as scheduled
I tried to get a midwife but they are in such high demand and I guess they don't take risky moms
Has your regular doctor made your referral yet to get you in?
Also here we have to find a midwife if that is the route we are taking versus a baby doctor which the normal doctor takes care of
