Progesterone?

Who here has had previous miscarriages and then fallen pregnant again and taken progesterone and had a successful pregnancy?

My doctor and ob both said theres no scientific evidence proving taking progesterone in any form prevents miscarriage or helps a pregnancy along. Its super confusing bc eeeeeveryone on this app seems to swear by it. 
Like shouldn't this be a standard thing in the medical world? It shouldn't be a contestable point.

I've had 5 miscarriages,  couldn't carry past 8 weeks. Took progesterone with my son for the first 13 weeks and had a successful pregnancy he is now 17 months.   Had a positive test just this past Friday,  dr put me on progesterone right away

Me!! I had to take it with my first son n now I'm pregnant again n my levels looked good without having to take it again (could be because my son is only 14 weeks n I'm pregnant again lol)

Yes my last pregnancy I took progesterone and aspirin and have a beautiful son I'm now 5+6 weeks and taking progesterone again 400mg once a day and have a scan next week at 7 weeks

im on progesterone tablets (vaginal) this time after 4 miscariages and so far so good. i have a giod gut feeling this time too.

me! my doctor will not let me go without  progestrone. She puts me on it as soon as I have a postive pregnancy test.

Im on vaginal progesterone. In my first pregnancy I had progesterone and have a healthy 5 year old girl. Then i had a MMC at 9 weeks in January and i wasnt on progesterone.
Now im exactly 6 weeks... hope all gors well.

I'm in a different situation.  This is my first pregnancy and my progesterone was 9.2 when it should be 10-14.  So they put me on 200 mg of progesterone at night.  I've only been taking it for a week.  But they said it will prevent any bleeding.
