So I know a lot of people cringe at the word 'feminism' because of all the extreme man haters who falsely label themselves as feminists.

Feminism is about equality and always has been. Not just equal laws for men and women but how society treats us too.

Being a feminist doesn't mean I want women to be superior or that I think all men are pigs! PEOPLE WHO THINK THAT ARE NOT REAL FEMINISTS. That's like saying you're a lesbian but having sex with men.

Being a feminist means I think that;

-Women being raped has nothing to do with what she was wearing, saying, doing or her sexual history.

-Male rape victims are just as important as female rape victims

-Wearing bras should be optional in all situations including work/school, as long as she is following the dress code.

-Men shouldn't be expected to pay on every date

-Women shouldn't be expected to do all the cooking and cleaning unless their is a mutual agreement

-Men and women should get the same jail sentence for the same crime

-Men and women should be payed the same per hour if they have the same job/same age

There are obviously many more examples I could give, but honestly I don't think any of that is extreme or unreasonable. Feminism is still needed as in many aspects we are treated differently.
