Would this be appropriate to wear as an intern?

Personally I would keep the neckline higher and overall look less frumpy, I'm just wondering about the converse? I have similar pieces in my wardrobe but never dared to wear my converse to work.
I'm a graphic design intern in a high-level job. The atmosphere is rather relaxed though; my boss will sometimes wear her checkered Sketchers to work.
Should I dare?

Well, I think it's really cute, and you can get away with more in a creative environment, usually, but if you're worried about it, I think you could achieve the same look with a dressier men's style shoe, as well, like a loafer or a brogue.
