Born 7/19/17 at 7:32AM weighing 6lbs 14oz and 20 inches long. 39 weeks gestational age. I had steady contractions starting around 7pm then ended up going in and was still a 3 so walked around for about an hour and no change. Nurse gave me pain killer shot and monitored me and baby for 30 mins or so & before i was getting ready to leave they checked me again and i was 5cm! They immediately admitted me and when i got to a room i was a 6-7cm and bloody show with the most painful excruxiating contractions i almost vomited! finally came in and gave me an epidural which was the best thing ever invented! I labored about 12 hours & 1.5 hours of pushing- Dr had to break my water even tho it was bulging every time I pushed. I had about 4 tears so that's a little rough but we're doing great! Breastfeeding and using a nipple shield to help. Hopefully get to go home tomorrow
