I wanted to create a post where we can share our pregnancy stories. I absolutely LOVE reading everyone's journey to motherhood! No matter where you are in that journey, please share here!

Here is mine:

I got married in 2014 and found out 3 days before our wedding that we were expecting our first baby! This was shocking since I had been on birth control for 10 years and my husband had just stopped taking testosterone treatments- we weren't preventing, but not officially trying either. My daughter was born on June 25, 2015 and we were elated!

My husband and I knew we wanted one more, but weren't completely ready until after my husband accepted a new position at work.

We started trying to get pregnant in January, but my husbands low-T was becoming harder to deal with and he required treatment. My ob referred us to fertility in March to help give things a little nudge. We completed all of the tests and they NEVER even contacted us about the results.

We decided the first weekend in July that we would be ok as a family of 3. We even laughed at how much cheaper trips and restaurant trips would be if we didn't continue trying. I knew this wasn't our ideal, but if it was our reality, I could handle it.

I missed my period, but this wasn't very unusual considering my periods are short and vary a few days either way. I woke up out of a dead sleep, ran and grabbed a pad- just sure I started AF. There was no sign of her arrival so I decided to take a hpt and WHEN it came back negative, I would wear a pad and move on with the day. I took the test (2nd urine) and omg, it came back positive! We are so excited and can't wait for our appointment! Baby #2 coming March 25!
