Eggplant????

Hi everyone. I'm 22 weeks pregnant .  I had eggplant Parmesan for lunch today. Now I'm worried as I read eggplant should be avoided while pregnant. What are your views on eggplant ladies?

I ask my mom all the time about stuff like this and she always says this "melisa stop reading shit" honestly if you didn't eat 20 in one sitting you're good. as long as you aren't eating raw or undercooked food and unpasteurized cheese I wouldn't worry no sense in having a stressful pregnancy.

I had tones of eggplant at the begging of my pregnancy and I'm still pregnant. Don't worry about it

From my understanding it's very healthy during pregnancy, just not every single day because it can cause preterm labor or miscarriage.

It's not the eggplant that induces labor. It's the herbs and spices in the sauce. Assuming you are talking about the eggplant parm recipe from the east coast shop that had gained huge popularity amongst moms for inducing labor.
