Kissing baby?

Since I've been reading a lot on this lately, I'm curious to see how new moms reacted when baby was first born. Did you let family kiss your baby? Did you not have anyone visit at hospital so didn't have to worry? Did you have visitors and politely ask them to not kiss baby?

I have 3 kids. As long as hands are washed or sanitized I let family hold the baby. I never explicitly said "don't kiss the baby" but no one did,  if they did I may have said something then. But if you make them wash hands I think they kinda know not to. Obviously if someone showed any sign of illness then they couldn't visit with the baby. But I never had an issue.

I would rather no one kiss my baby except myself and his father however I feel terrible telling people not to kiss my child so they all do. I feel like it's an awkward situation

1)kissing was fine, only close family were around and no one was sick so i didnt mind. 99% kissed him on his head anyways. 
2) with my son, everyone came to the hospital and it was so over whelming. Never mind the germs. 
With my current pregnancy i've told everyone that only my SO, and maybe my mom are allowed at the hospital. Everyone can schedule time at home later to meet baby😂

I never have kissed someone else's newborn. I honestly didn't know this was a thing people did. I always figured if you have to wash your hands before touching them the mom probably doesn't want your mouth on the baby! Seems like common sense to me, but now I'm freaked out realizing it's not lol. (FTM, baby not here yet😊)
