stressed

hi, this is my first time on here. I'm 32 and reminded all the time by everyone that we better get busy on the baby train. well my husband and I have been trying for just over two years now. my dr. has me on 1500mg of metformin a day and clomid. I get side effects from both but I agreed with my dr. that the pros out weight the cons. so every day I deal with changing blood sugar spikes and drops even when I'm watching what I eat. nausea and now with the clomid I get bad hot flashes for about an hour a day. does anyone else have these side effects? but on the bright side the "pros" I have ovulated a couple times since starting the metformin in December. this month will only be the second time I've taken clomid.
