how long should I wait?

I get irregular periods but I get it every month regardless. I use glow app to track my period and I should've gotten it 4 days ago. still no period. it has been twice I've had to update "my period is late". for this month my hunny has been coming back home more often than not. (goes out of town to work) so of course we've been having sexytime alot more. I am on birth control...should I wait for my period till the month is over or should I get a pregnancy test done already? fyi im tripping out cause with my babygirl i got pregnant while on the depo shot...
