How to tell my parents Ive started my period??

I'm 11 and I'm scared to tell my mam I've started anyone got ideas please xx

Step one: buy a cake mix that is dyed red
2: get white frosting and red tube frosting for letters
3: bake the cake, allow it to cool
4: take it out of the pan and frost it once its cool
5: using the red frosting tube write "i have the bloodshed of a women" 
6: present the cake to whom it concerns. 
Just kidding! Lol its optional though. All i did was i texted my mom "I started my period and i need pads" and thats how i told mines. Id tell your mother first. She'll know what to do. 
But dont tell your dad. Make the cake and give it to him to tell him. That way everyone gets cake!! And you get a tasty treat on your period! 🎂

Ask her for a pad... that's what my niece did  her mom was like get it out my bag wait what who getting a pad for? Then she started crying about her baby not being a baby anymore

I never told my mom. I knew where she kept her pads and just kept trucking. She knew though because she's a mom and went out and bought me supplies. If I could do it all over again I would treat it like a bandaid just rip it off and blurt it out.

If embarrassed, don't be. It is completely normal, and every girl/woman has it. I told my sister first, because I needed a pad, and she had some. If you're not comfortable telling your mom, is there anyone that you are comfortable talking to?

I told her the day after. In exactly 24 hours. I get it. I was the same as you are. I only had my cloth dirty and I show it to her. And she said "ohw yu have ur period." That's all

just sit her down and tell her :) there is absolutley nothing to be embarrassed about. she has the same exact thing! I really hope that my daughter comes to me so we can talk because it's not shameful in the slightest. its a part of the natural way of things. ❤
