Was this sexual assault

So this was a little while ago, but i was at a party and this guy was there and he was drunk. He kept telling me i was beautiful and i saw aw you too ahah and then i tried to walk away (i had barely drunk anything so i wasnt drunk) After a bit i sat down and was talking to my friends when he came over and he just kissed me out of the blue. I pushed him away and was laughing a bit, then i went back to my conversation. (Also im 14 and he is 16) A few minutes later he came back and kept saying your beautiful again and again. He repeatedly tried to kiss me, but i pushed him away again when he got close to my face. Was this sexual assault or am i being dumb? (Im not worried and im not going to do anything about it, im just wondering)
