Baby Name

I've got a dilemma... we don't have a first name for our son... His middle names were to be Edward Miles (after our grandfather's, so these names are a must as they have sentimental value) Everytime we think we've found a first name we love, a week later we're over it and decide his name sounds too LONG! My husband said this morning we'll give him the first name Edward, middle name Miles and call him Eddie or Teddy... So my question is.. how do you guys feel about the name Edward? it's too old fashioned, no? I said how about Miles Edward but he doesn't like Miles as a first name... thoughts???
