How did you tell your SO you are pregnant?

I have the least romantic story ever!
I was like 2 weeks late, after having a chemical pregnancy the previous cycle so assumed my cycles were a mess and being late was normal. 
Felt sick one day and took a test just to rule it out. We've been ttc for 3 years with that loss and failed ivf so just assumed it'd be negative. 
The second i saw the lines i called him at work and blurted it out as soon as he said hello.
'I'm pregnant, i'm fucking pregnant James.'
He dropped the phone.

Well, I woke up very early that morning to use the bathroom. For some reason I decided to go to the one downstairs (theirs one right beside our bedroom upstairs 🤷🏻‍♀️). I grabbed the test on my way down because my period was due that day. Not thinking anything of it I took the test, laid it on the counter and continued to do my business. I started watching youtube and I casually glanced over at the test and I seen 2 very clear lines. My eyes widened and I kept thinking "this ain't real!" (I've been getting negative & false positives for a year at this point) I turned back to my video & in a split second I snatched that test up and observed it like crazy! It was undeniably their! I finished my business very fast & ran upstairs to wake up my fiancé (of 6 years). I walked in the bedroom with the test in my hand, smiling uncontrollably. I sat beside him & leaned down to him, shaking his arm to wake him up. I said "honey, wake up. I have some really exciting news to tell you!" He cracked his eyes open and said "yes, honey?" I continued to put the positive pregnancy test in front of him and told him "I'm pregnant!" He adjusted his eyes and looked at it, he started smiling and we rushed out to get a digital test to confirm what our eyes was seeing & sure enough it read "pregnant". We laughed & hugged non-stop. We couldn't stop smiling. It was a beautiful moment. I am now 12 weeks and 5 days pregnant with our first, a baby boy. 😍👶🏻💙

literally I took a test Thursday.. positive. took a test Friday. positive. took 3 tests Saturday... positives. so when we were going to bed Saturday I was like "so I'm not going to get my period" and he was like "what makes you say that?" and I was like "the 5 pregnancy tests in the bathroom" and he was happy and we kissed and went to sleep lol and now I'm going to have our baby boy this week haga

My SO was at work. I had already had 1 confirmed pregnancy and possibly a second one. I still think it was the same one as the first one was a threatened MC. Anyways, it was only a month or so later that I received a positive. I showed my bestie/roommate and said "how the fuck am I pregnant again?!" Lol SO and I were only intimate twice in December! Anyways, I took a picture of it and sent it to him and told him to call me. He called me back SO FAST! Lol he was so stoked!! I was mad and scared lol!! Now we are 31 weeks with our rainbow baby boy!

Ha! Mine wasn't romantic either. I peed in a cup, he wanted to hold the test in my pee (😂) and he stood and watched it change to "pregnant". We both said, "already?!?". It was our first month trying lol.

mine wasnt cute either lol. first time he was hungover sleeping in the bathroom and i handed him the test. he laughed and gave it back. like 10 min later he showered and came in the room and asked if i still had it. i said yup and he saw it again and said "i guess we should go look at rings" lol that was my "proposal". got married 2 weeks later. second time he was out of state and i told him in a phone call. lost it 3 days later. this time he was out of state again and it was thru text lol. currently 20 weeks pregnant :)

My husband just come home from work, and I was in getting sick and he's like babe you alright, is it the stomach flu, if so I don't want it. I'm yeah the stomach flu, and I come out with a positive pregnancy test, and all he could say was oh baby and wouldn't say anything for the rest of the night. His first child and he was in shock lol 😂.

It was Thanksgiving Day and I was craving sweet pickles but couldn't find the brand I wanted anywhere! He told me I was pregnant and I told him I wasn't. The next morning he left for work around 5:30 am and i took a test. Sure enough there was 2 lines! I called him and he didn't believe me at first (idk why😂). But he was excited when he got home! And said he told everyone at work lol
