SOS ANYONE PLEASE ANSWER

So I started bleeding a week before my period (I'm on birth control) so I just thought it was an early period or breakthrough bleeding. So I used tampons bc it acted like my period. Today as I changed a tampon I had a lump of skin come out. Is this normal??? I'm not sure what's going on but I'm terrified.
