Ok I'm going to RANT!!! Which is something I never do but......

I CANNOT STAND .... when a customer comes in and their child is misbehaving or putting themselves in harms way and they're not saying anything to the child. But the moment you speak up and say something to the child (in a professional, caring tone of course) they want to get all pissy and tell you something like you said something wrong ??? Umm no I don't think so. Because we both know if something terrible happens to your child , first person you're blaming is me or the company !!!! Ugh ..... rant over !!!

YES. I've worked at multiple retail stores and these parents are everywhere. I worked at Costco at one point and I asked a little kid around 3 or 4 years old to sit down in the cart because he was standing and I needed to move it. I was very polite and used please and thank you, asked him to sit down on his bum for me. His mom gave me the dirtiest look. Like fuck you if he falls out and cracks his head open I could be criminally charged because we all know who you're gonna blame. Some people are so ignorant.

I've been to places where they put signs up that say something along the lines of, "if your child misbehaves you will be asked to leave." I 100% agree with that. Yes, kids will be kids, but there is a difference between kids acting like kids, and kids being had as hell and their parents NOT disciplining them. You didn't say anything wrong. I've been to stores where I've seen kids running around and knocking clothes and stuff off the shelves, and their parents don't say anything to them 🙄🙄🙄🙄 so disrespectful!

Parents can be unbelievably ridiculous!!! These women must have something seriously going on behind close doors , to be acting so hateful and mean all the time . It's just flat out uncalled for . It's not that hard to discipline children. Omjocelyn I just can't deal anymore lol

I work at a daycare center( we have cameras) and this mother and I clash all the time. Her older daughter, who is 10, and likes to cause problems, told her mom I yelled at her youngest son who is 2 and completely disrespectful as doesn't listen! She tried to say I left a bruise on him. Thank god my boss knows how the mom is and how her children are, and she pulled up the camera WITH sound!!! And proved that everything I said was true, and her son was never touched or screamed at.

Omjocelyn yes I totally agree !!! Like seriously all i said was "hey honey please stop running and be careful!" And her mom blew up ! Like lady your daughter almost hit her heard on the table . Thank goodness my manager was standing there watching the whole because after I left she tried to complain and say I put my hands on her child and some other nonsense .
