like three months ago when my bf and I started dating he had gone to a strip club with friends and I was kind of mad about it but I let him go because I didnt want him thinking I was a controlling person. although I'm not mad anymore because it was so long ago  I just want your thoughts on how'd you'd react or feel about something like that.

If he wanted to go with friends, why not. If he didn't tell me, then I'd be offended. it would feel as though he was hiding something. Now, that being said, he doesn't like going to strip clubs.

I would say whatever if it was really a big deal as long as he comes home at the end of the night what's it matter really? Can't control people cause then it won't be a happy relationship. Am I COMFORTABLE with it? Hell no. But at the same time I don't like to be told why I can and can't do either so.... you can let him know it isn't something you're comfortable with but you won't stop him from going. Plus you just started dating... so obviously he wants you and not someone else

I have a look but don't touch rule. Sometimes I go too because it is fun. As long as it is all visual and no one tries dancing up onto him, I don't care.

I guess it depends, lying about it not ok, I'm somewhat uncomfortable with personal lap dances...but I've asked my partner to go to one with me and he has no interest
