the reason I am asking is because I have seen alot of rants on here about family ruining the reveals!! so I'm just curious on how it happened?

I'll share my story I had my first back in 2013 and it was a boy my bfs family is nothing but boys so it didn't shock us since men determine the sex. When I got pregnant the second time I had a wired feeling it was a girl but because men determine the sex and his family is all boys I didn't get to excited. As time went on I decided I wanted an early gender reveal because I was that sure I was having another boy and I wanted to get to shopping! I was 16 weeks when I went in to find out, after they were done I walked out and they handed me an envelope and a bag full of stuff. The plan was for my brother to take the envelope and go buy an outfit for us to open! but because my brother thought me holding it meant I wanted to know, he opened it, threw his head back laughing and that's when I was like ok it's a boy. I was pissed I walked up to him and he said "congratulations not only are you a mom to a boy(my first born)your now a mom to a girl!!!" then slapped me in the chest with the paper. I said "no fucking way!" when I looked there she was I started crying and yelling I was Soo happy; for so long I had thought I would never have a girl. My bfs mom started crying(she was there), I called my mom and she said "told you so" and she started crying! everyone did because they were so shocked I was having a girl!! I was angry at my brother because he ruined what I had planned since 4 weeks! till this day(she is now 13 months)I remind him of what he did and all he says is "he's not sorry he did it because he wanted to be the first to see my face"😒
