Cloth wipe solution

Has any one used 'Baby Bits' cubes for their cloth wipe solution?

I have the prince lion heart warmer and a couple dozen Gerber reuseable wipes. I was making my own mixture of tee tree, distilled water, lavender and either coconut oil or olive oil. But I found the coconut oil solidified and the olive oil didn't some through the wipes so it all settled on top, leaving my top couple of wipes very oily.

So I guess my two main questions are will these cubes spoil if not mixed with distilled water?

And has any one had issues with absorbency/ build up when washing their wipes soaked in this solution wth their diapers??
