All depends on the size of your baby. I had GD my first pregnancy and went into labor on my own.

Depends I'm on insulin due to GD my OB won't let me go past 38+3.

It really depends. Some people do get induced because doctors believe the baby will be too big. Others are okay. Others try vaginally and carrying until 40 weeks and then find out the baby is too big and need a c-section. Theres so many things that can happen. My SIL had GD and they weren't going to induce her until 3 days after her due date. She ended up having her baby on her own though at 39w5d.

I have it and my OB is letting me go to 40 as long as all my sugars, my weight, and all my NST and BPP test are normal for this last month. Today is officially 1 month left I'm due August 25. I hope he comes a little before 40 on his own though I do not want to be induced at all
