Is it possible to cover up nexplanon bruising/ scar with makeup?

I'm thinking about getting one soon but when I get the nexplanon I would need to cover up the bruising because my parents won't know. For those of you that have/had one, do you think this would be easy? I would be using makeup bc I don't have long enough sleeves and it's the summer

When I got mine put in it was so far up and on the inside of my arm that a short sleeved shirt actually covered it.

You have to wear a pressure bandage for 24-72 hours (depends on what your dr recommends) to keep you from bruising and for the skin to heal. It's really important you wear it. After that comes off you have steristrips, again, keep them on as long as your dr says too.
