Would you wear clothes washed in a used washing machine?

Question

I received a used washing machine a few weeks ago and have avoided using it for a while (taking laundry elsewhere). I've ran several cycles through it with detergent and vinegar. The family I got it from seems clean enough but I still worry. Would you use it?

Well a laundromat has nothing but used washing machines and people use them all the time and there are some people way dirtier than a young family. I'm not understanding your apprehension towards this. You've cleaned it multiple times it should be fine. Go ahead and use it and thank the Lord you don't have to pay upwards of $600 for a new one.

When you go to a laundromat many people wash their clothes in those machines I don't see why you can't use a used washer especially if you cleaned it ?? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

All the germs from every previous load washed in it is stored in the tub and contaminates all future loads of laundry.  It's science.

Of course I would use it. Washer machines you use at a laundromat, family's house, rental apartment, etc. are all essentially used. As long as you do a few cycles to clean it out (which is also good to do even when you have a new one) then there should be no issue. 
Even with my new washer machine, once to twice a month I'll run a cycle on hot water to clean out the months detergent residue.

👀 I had no idea this was an actual concern. Like its a machine literally used for cleaning, I don't think I'd be worried of it being dirty or anything, just because it's used

Of course I would. I lived in two different apartments with a washer dryer. They definitely weren't new when I moved in. And when we bought our house, it came with a washer dryer that we still use. I don't see how there could be a problem unless it's broken, but that has nothing to do with cleanliness

A laundromat has used washing machines. The apartment complex I live at has 4 shared washers between 26 units, and they were also used before we moved in here. We'd be hand washing everything if we weren't using used washers.
