25 weeks high blood pressure

So since around 18 weeks my blood pressure has been steadily going up. It's been around 148/90 all the way up to 148/106 . So today at my doctors apt with my OB , he prescribed me blood pressure medication 100mg labatelol . I'm really nervous to start this tomorrow as i have anxiety about starting medications . I'm just wondering if anyone has been on this medication while pregnant and if it helped or what ever experience . I know I need to take it but I'm super nervous . Thanks 🙏
