If we're talking about a man that's cheating on a woman then he loves neither of them. If he loved one of them he wouldn't be with the other nor would he be lying to one. He'd be grown up and be honest and respectful to both women.

If a man cheats on a woman he doesn't love her. And he doesn't love the woman he's cheating with either. However, when a man lies to the woman he's with because he's cheating, it's because he doesn't want to lose her but he wants to have his secret fun on the side. So I do think he cares about the one he lies to and not the one he's telling the truth to

It depends… Are you comparing women? Like the main chick? And the side chick? If you have to ask that question, he doesn't love either of you. There is nothing loving about cheating. It doesn't matter if he told the truth, he still did the deed. That alone should be enough to tell you that he doesn't love you. If you're coming from the side chick's point of view, if he loved you you wouldn't be a side chick. Furthermore, if he cheats on you that is enough to lose trust, that means, to me anyway, that anything out of his mouth after that point cannot be trusted. So truth or lie, it's all the same shit coming from the mouth of a cheater.
