breastfeeding & sleeping through the night

my 4 month old has recently started sleeping through the night, 7-10 or more hours normally... after I transitioned her into her own room! my breasts have been engorged from not nursing at night and I know that over time, they will start to realize no nursing is happening at night and they will adjust... but I have read something about the worry of losing general supply if I go longer than 8 hours. Have any of you had issues during the day of not being able to produce enough after your baby started sleeping through the night? should I pump after 8 hours to be safe?
