Future kids
I can't wait to have kids and not have gender roles in my household. My son will not say "I'm not washing dishes, that's a girls job" and my daughter will not say "I don't want to do yard work that's a guys job".
If my son can start dating at 14, then so can my daughter.
This might be a big "DUH" to a lot of people, but I grew up in a traditional Mexican home, where Machismo was more than common.
My brother got to do so many more things than my sisters and I.
He got to date when he was 13, I couldn't have a boyfriend until I was 16.
He was caught with a girl in his bed, my mom cried.
I would even look at a boy and my dad would give me a dirty look.
All of this led me to be a very rebellious teen and had a shitty relationship with my parents 🤷🏻♀️
