Spotting after period

Last day of my period was July 22 and my hubby and I had relations on the 25th. This morning the 27th I had really bad cramps, and realized that I was bleeding (spotting) it was a light reddish pinkish.... this has never happened to me before. Has anyone else experienced this before?? Why?? ( I'm TTC)
