Arching away from boob and crying?

My daughter is 4mo and the last couple of days she has been arching her back and pulling away from my boob after like ten mins of feeding, she either looks around and then goes back to it or she cries. But she's still hungry :/ what's wrong with her? She does normally have a bit of reflux but I feed her in an upright position and she's never done this before 🤷🏼‍♀️

It could be gas (try rubbing her back as she feeds or burping her as she pulls off), could be impatience (milk isn't coming fast enough for her liking or it's coming too fast), she's distracted (typical for that age as they are increasingly aware of surroundings, try reducing any stimuli), or she may be having a developmental leap (my daughter always fussed when she was about to accomplish something new), etc. If it doesn't work out in a couple of weeks, contact a local LC or your local LLL for tips and troubleshooting advice.

Sounds like reflux. Could be something in your diet bothering her. Try cutting out dairy

My baby always did this when she was gassy, she was still hungry and trying to feed but couldn’t and then would cry. After a burp she’d be fine and go back to feeding again
