Metabolic Disorder Screening --false positives?
Hey Moms,
Has anyone had their baby's screening test come back abnormal for metabolic disorders? I am so worried and concerned now. The neonatal doctor is telling me it is most likely a false positive result. They will do follow-up testing to be sure. Has anyone else experienced this? What was the outcome? I don't know much about metabolic disorders and it seems like there are so many. I am just praying my baby isn't actually at risk.
