Breast milk for toddler?

This may be a weird question but my 18 month old was formula fed. Now that I have a second baby that is being breastfed are there any benefits of giving some to my toddler? I have a large supply and lots frozen I don't know what to do with.

You could always mix it into cereal or oatmeal. He won't notice and he will get all the good nutrients and antibodies.

It's actually recommended now to bf to age 2 or beyond (not knocking anyone who did otherwise. I myself am just trying to make it to at least year 1 and then maybe go longer). So yes, there are benefits.

No it's not a weird question at all. Absolutely it is a benefit to him! Breastmilk never loses benefit no matter how old lo is.

Have you tried to give him some?
My friend was in the same boat as you and her toddler would just spit it out. 
Breast milk is an "acquired" taste...don't be shocked if your toddler's not interested..

It is absolutely beneficial. I resent my mother for not breast feeding me, it is sooo important if you are able.
