'After you find out gender' is kind of bullshit. Not everyone wants to know if it's a girl or a boy yet. They want to wait until the baby is born to find out. Just do a gender neutral room.

im 8 months and ive been dying to buy baby stuff but i have very supersticious family so i wont be starting until after the baby shower because it nice to see what you get and then do the rest yourself and nothing will be set up or taken out until the baby is actually born my family has offered to set everything up while im in the hospital but its honestly killing me lol but i think after the baby shower because at babies r us the registry has this point system and you get the stuff at the baby shower and then fill up the rest yourself and you can get this gift card and what not due to how much is bought off the registry you make

I start after a month usually, waiting till you learn the gender is a bit too long. It's must easier to buy little by little and the sooner you buy the less you have to rush and the more you can acquire. Many things needed doesn't require a known gender or you can pick gender neutral  colors,  not every thing has to be pink and blue lol

I'm only engaged and my mother is already buying stuff for me.... My sister just had her second child and my mother is putting aside all of the things the baby grows out of just in case I have a baby soon. She's asking for an unplanned Oops baby.

We never found out gender. Surprise baby. I started buying neutral stuff shortly into my 2nd trimester.
