How long do you pump for?

How long do you pump for at each session? My LO is a month old and taking 2.5 to 3 oz a feeding. I was initially pumping for 10 mins then increased to 20 to 30 mins. I don't think I can or want to increase that time but sometimes my output is so little and my nipples are so sore.

Pumping longer won't help. I suggest power pumping to get your supply going and then pump once or twice a day at the same time. I found that having my daughter nurse one side and me pump the other works a lot better because she can get my let down going better then the pump. Also use nipple cream before you pump to help keep them from getting sore.

I only pump 10 minutes on each breast. I get one ounce from the left and 2-3 from the right? 
How can I increase my supply? 
I tried breast feeding for a few days because the doctor said my body should keep up with her demand. But she would get pissed my boobs would run out if milk. When I went back to hardly got an ounce out of each boob. 
I feel like I get more pumping alone. But I need to get more so I can at least  make a bottle or more from each pumping session.
