Irregular period!

So, my period randomly became irregular last month, it skipped 2 1/2 weeks and then wanted to start. Since then my boobs have been very tender (not painful) and I've also been breaking out a lot!!! Which is how I know my hormones are out of wack. That being said, my boobs have felt tender for 2 months now, on and off. Wondering if it could be my hormones? Not pregnant by the way.
