Okay. Well I was in labor for 48 hours. I was taking the pain, I didn't want the epidural until it was close time for me to push and my contractions were painful as hell every two to three mins. Then around 5:00 I started getting cold and shivering this was some hours after they broke my water and gave me epidural.... the nurse called my doctor in there and said Dr. Harris we need you. They stepped out came back in and said Ms. Brown we need to have an emergency. C section you have a fever of 102. Your blood count is 6 (it's supposed to be 12) The baby has a fever of 102 and his heart rate is dropping and you've only dilated 8 cm. (Have to dilate 10 cm to push) i immediately went into tears they started suiting up and nurses and doctors were everywhere! They started poking me everywhere and rolling me down the hall. Next thing I heard was the baby was here. Jayce wasn't moving or crying. Took them 30 seconds to get him to breathe and 3 mins to get his fever down. It all happened so fast! But when I saw him my whole life had changed. 6 lbs even. 20.25 inches long. 14 staples later MY prince 👑💙 is here! Born July 26, 2017. 5:47 pm
