My fiancé mother came into our new house that we just bought. She's looking around, looking at each room, well my fiancé had a three year old little girl. Note that our house is a three bedroom two bathroom 1500sq.

She looks at her granddaughters room and says this is soooooo adorable, well she looks in the room beside her granddaughters room and says to me "y'all better not be using this room no time soon, hell no more grand babies". I was in complete shock, I didn't know what to say so I just walked away with this look on my face..... I finally told my fiancé what his mom had said and he agrees with me that she shouldn't said anything like that, it's our decision if we want to have more kids or not. I told him that his whole family is wrapped up on the fact that they want his daughter to be the only granddaughter.

I'm sorry but that's not okay to me.

She also said to me that we don't need kids because we have bills, little money, haven't started our careers yet..... (I am a paralegal and he's a campus police officer)

Yes, I know that a baby is a lot of money, time and effort but it's also our decision.
