Do you agree with Good Samaritan Clauses?

Eliza

So my school FINALLY put in a Good Samaritan Clause in terms of students being able to call UPD or the paramedics without fear of getting into trouble for doing so. This is especially important in case of alcohol poisoning or drug overdose where a few precious hours can mean the difference between life and death. There have been multiple deaths of students on campus because of kids going a little too hard and then they're friends thinking that it'll just work itself out of their system not realizing that it won't. So at first the school just did awareness programs telling kids to always call. But if they did those kids who called would get in trouble (even if they weren't actually involved in the drinking or drug use...learned that the hard way because my friend was given to me drunk and unresponsive and I still got in trouble even though I was in my pjs and clearly had not had any alcohol 🙄). So obviously kids wouldn't want to get in trouble so they just wouldn't call. Or they'd call and then leave. It was ridiculous. But FINALLY they put in the clause to make sure that those who call don't get in trouble which will save lives as people are more inclined to call in case of emergency. Anyway what do you guys think of the Good Samaritan Clause?
