Do you think we will ever live in a world without racism?

My mom and I were discussing this today. Personally, I think once a lot of the older generation die, a lot of racism will die with them. Now, I know that racism is taught and that there will still be racists because of this, but it is my sincere hope that it is not as bad once they are gone. I feel younger generations are generally more accepting. Not anywhere near where we should be, but a step up from where we have been as far as acceptance goes. My mom thinks it will never end, and stay the same throughout time because it is a method of control & division. What do you think?
