How big is your baby?

Long story short I switched pediatricians because ours kept rescheduling our appointments. We hadn't been seen by our ped or received any immunizations since May.

We had our appointment with the new pediatrician yesterday and she immediately brought up her concern for his size. He is 16lbs 13oz and 27in long. She said that is 2% for weight and 7% for height and if he stays in this percentile he'll be 5'4". At his 4 month check up he was 75% for weight and 50% for height. I don't know what went wrong. He weighed 16lbs 11oz and was 26 3/4 in back in may. That was 3 months ago.

Anyone else in this boat? Have you done anything that has helped with your child's size? I'm extremely concerned because my step daughter has a growth hormone issue that was recently discovered and she received nightly shots to help with her stunted size. The pediatrician said our son may very well have this condition too but it's too soon for her to tell.
