Anyone who has had past pregnancies go into labor after a cervical check?

I had one yesterday, I have been cramping non stop since my dr did it. In my back and menstrual like cramps. I was 2cm dilated but still thick yesterday. I don't ever remember having this kind of uncomfortableness in the past after a check. I know I have lost a little bit of my plug and have had a ton of discharge since... maybe my hopes are just up, and it's all in my head... I had been having cramps on and off and told my DR yesterday but he said that was more than normal and wasn't concerned.

With my first, labor only lasted 8 hours and I did 7 hours of it without an epidural, I think I have a high pain tolerance, so I'm just worried that I might be in early labor and not know it. The baby hasn't moved at all today and has been slowing down in the past couple of days, which I let the DR know yesterday as well. And again he really didn't have much to say, other than when I left - "call if you go into labor." Duh. 😤🤦🏻‍♀️
