Should I try for a Vbac?

I had my daughter in August 2014 via c-section. The reason for the cesarean was failed induction. I wasn't progressing past 1cm even with pitocin. My baby was in distress and I had to have an urgent c-section. I am expecting a baby on October 19. I really want to try for a Vbac. How good do you think my chances are for a successful Vbac? I don't know if I want to do a repeat cesarean or try for a vaginal birth. I'm nervous but I need some advice.

My best advice is to see a doctor. It can be risky so you'd want to talk that out with a professional. Some aren't too keen on Vbacs so try to get a second or third opinion on it. See what a few say and make your decision from there.

I also had a failed induction my doctor is all for me to do a vbac. but because I never went into active labor she doesn't think I will before 40 weeks they won't let me go past that because of a c section

I say go for it! But your doctor has to give you the green light if they think you can do it. Also I would get a second professional opinion on top of your doctors opinion of whether you should or not. I can't tel you if your chances are good or not but I can encourage you to definitely try if your doctor clears you! ❣️

it depends on what your Dr says. my csection was due to baby not dropping because she couldn't since her face was coming out first, I wasn't having strong contractions with full pitocin, and I went to a stretchy 7. I also was induced. my Dr thinks I have a good chance because I dialated that far and the reason was how the baby was coming out. i'm still terrified though, but I do not want another csection.
