Where should my babe sleep😭

I have the halo bassinet and the rock and play.. the first few nights I had him sleep in the rock n play just bc I was out on the couch getting the hang of things. Now he's 8 days old and I still don't want to put him in the halo!! It's so big and looks so uncomfortable. What do I do!!!!!🙄

Use the bassinet if you can. The rock and play sleeper's are not meant for sleeping overnight, you run the risk of your baby developing torticollis. I understand that there are some nights where it's the only place baby will sleep, but don't get into the habit of having him sleep in there.

Please don't use rock and play. Risk for SIDS because it puts pressure on diaphragm and lungs which can decrease oxygen level.

I used a bassinet (the one with the pack and play) for a few nights here and there but it seemed so uncomfortable and like my girl had her chin in her chest. She also slept in her pack and play. Just flat with nothing, but she didnt like that either. So I moved her to her rock and play, which I go bc I saw a lot of moms raving about how awesome they were and it was bc my girl also has reflux and it worked great for her to be upright.

You're not supposed to use a rock n play for overnight sleeping. You need to put him in the bassinet.

I used the rock n play for 3 months then crib. The crib was in our room he did great with the transition.
