Tips for deepthroating?

I was trying to practice deepthroating and I guess I was too rough because I threw up. (It was really fun having to clean that up 🙄)
Any tips or pointers?

Make a fist with your left hand and squeeze your thumb in the fist. This should suppress your gag reflex

Slowly inch up higher and when u feel gagging, pause with the d in ur mouth and breathe thru ur nose. Then go up higher and just keep repeating till u cant go anymore.
