Let's talk Vitex

I have pregnancy induced hypothyroid (pregnancy with my toddler overworked it if you don't know much about that gland you probably don't understand), so my pituitary gland doesn't communicate with my thyroid or vice versa- either way either of them communicate with my body correctly. I don't get periods at all because of my glands' frustrating miscommunication.

The first time I started vitex months ago I got horrible hormonal acne, so I stopped. I'm wanting to try again now without giving up.

1) Did vitex make you break out in the beginning too? Is this a sign of everything balancing out or imbalancing even more?

2) how long after starting it did you finally get a positive opk OR a period?

3) y'all can just give me a story book timeline of events to help me better understand, especially if you have a thyroid disease such as I.
