Should 15 year olds who choose to keep their pregnancy ask for help?

Ok. So here's the truth. I absolutely hate teen mothers who are 15 and expect their everyone to help them out because they got pregnant. Here's the truth. If you're going to be having sex at that age I suggest birth control. Seriously. You need to be on birth control to at least prevent pregnancy although I know not all birth control is 100%. I think having kids at a young age is a dumb idea especially at 15. You're still in school, you never know if you and your boyfriend will last forever, what about college? What about a job? What about traveling the world? 
My friend's sister in law is 15 and she's currently pregnant and now is asking her and her fiance for help but they refuse too other families don't want to help either and I totally agree with it.

I just find it funny how I would abort in a heart beat the moment I find out I'm pregnant and I'm only 21,

If you're going to be having kids that young then you need a back up plan. You need to do school and have a job and care for your kid. You want to act like an adult then survive like one.

What are your thoughts on it? I grew up in a strict house hold and I'm glad I had kids and it's already hard for me to have kids as I was told which I'm totally fine with.

Call me a Bitch for saying it but I'm just being honest.

Not your life, don't worry about it. Most can't legally work at 15. Most have strict parents & do it behind their backs. Most don't have money for bc & some parents don't support. Kids will do it, even if it's sneaking around. Most parents & schools don't offer sex Ed classes or informative ones to let them know about other precautions to take as well as plan b & things of that sort. Some decide to keep their child because if religious beliefs & whatnot. They'll learn it's hard but it's better to support them rather than tear them down. I don't mean pay for all their expenses but advice them at least. What's done is done.

I'm 26 and married and my mom and mil are helping us out with childcare while we work. Having a baby means you need extra help in some areas, no matter your age.

I think what these girls need most right now is help and not judgment. Sure they're too young to have kids and shouldn't have had sex blah blah blah, but they did and it happened. I get help from family sometimes, a lot of people do. It's one thing if there is an individual that is just expecting everything to be handed to them and done for them, but that doesn't mean all teen moms do that.

You make it sound so easy to have an abortion! Have you ever experienced it? Not everyone can go through with that! I for one had a baby at 22 and when it came down to it I could not abort! I continued with my pregnancy and had a lot of help from my mum. Its not jut teenagers that need help from parents/friends/siblings. Grated being a mum at 15 isn't ideal but it is what it is and people judging the girl isn't going to change it.

I agree with you up to an extent. I think if the families are offering their help and want to support the child then that's great. But I don't think the 15 year old mother should just expect money and time off everyone. I would also abort 100% because I'm way too young and not financially stable, it would just be selfish to have a child.

I feel like his belongs in CC. And just because you get pregnant young doesn't mean that you can't go to school or get a job or maintain some form of relationship with the childs father. 
Also, it takes a village to raise a child. As a FTM I relied on my mom for all kinds of things because it was all so new. As a teenager, being pregnant has got to be scary because youd be worried about everything you brought up in your post (school/work/boyfriend). And you'd need your family more then ever.

Having a baby means you need extra help sometimes. This is true at ANY age. I'm so thankful I have supportive family members who help with childcare because I don't trust anyone else to watch my kids! 
I also have friends who don't have any help from family.. so I help them by watching their kids when they need it (when I can). 
It truly takes a village to raise a child and I would think that would be more true at such a young age.

I'm 22 and I still need help from mine and my boyfriends family, and I would if I was 32! Having a baby is hard no matter what age so as long as the 15 year old isn't expecting other people to raise the baby for her, it's totally okay bc you need help at any age. As for birth control, yes it's a good idea if they can get it but some parents are strict and won't get it for their daughters bc they believe it's enabling them to have sex, when the reality is they will do it anyways but the parents are just preventing them from having safe sex.

This post literally makes no sense whatsoever. 15 year olds who decide to open their legs and keep the babies aren't bad people. People like you who decide to judge them are bad people. You can't get mad at someone who is willing to keep their baby because they knew it would happen if you're out here going to have sex and say "i'd abort in a heartbeat" That girl is just trying to keep a life that she made unlike you who decides that the baby should die because of selfish reasons. Im not anti abortion and im also not pro abortion. i just believe that if you want to open your legs you can deal with the consequences and NOT judge other people. Let her do her and stop ranting about her life because at the end of the day how are pregnant teens affecting you as a 21 year old? 😂

It's not easy getting birth control. I've asked my mom multiple times and she yelled at me for even thinking about it. Finally back in April she said yeah I can and that she'll make the appointment but it's now august and she hasn't taken me. 🙄 not easy getting birth control and I find condoms break very frequently.😬
