Conflicted

My boyfriend and I have been on and off for a year and I invited him to move in with me when I moved and he seemed less than excited about it. I almost had to talk him into it. I hate doing long distance with someone who isn't even trying. But do I give up on everything? He gave me a promise ring for my birthday, I know he cares about me a lot. One of my old co workers and I have liked each other for a long time but that'd be long distance too. I've never dated this coworker so I'm not sure if the relationship would even work. I love my boyfriend but he just doesn't seem too into our relationship, all he cares about is sex when he comes over and which sex toys to bring. It pressures me into feeling like I should then. I would hate to end things and regret it but at the same time the career he wants to pursue stands against my beliefs and all we seem to be is sex. What should I do???? Do I stay with him? Or should him and I break up?
