Work Frustration

So, I'm the youngest person at my work significantly, as in most of the people I work with have kids my age. And we are a small office of like 5 people total. Of the positions there are two people, including myself, that do my job. The woman that is basically my mentor as I've only been here 7 months is UNBEARABLE. She has been doing the job 15 years, I get it she knows how to do it all and I know nothing, but she treats me like a child. I am her PEER not her subordinate. When she is "teaching" me it just feels like she is scolding me and she does it in front of patients! I usually just take it but even the other coworkers make comments about how badly she treats me. It's not like she is being constructive at all I just feel like she belittles me just because I'm new to this, and no I don't know it all but I'm extremely smart, I want to learn not be scolded. UGH! I also don't want to talk to our boss about it because it's such a small office there's no anonymity and I don't want to make a scene. Its like the only way she knows how to talk to people is lecturing them. She's not even nice to patients most of the time either...
