Got a fetal Doppler. When were you able to hear heartbeat?

Got a home doppler for baby yesterday, I'm 8 weeks 5 days today & we couldn't find the heart beat, at our first ultrasound she was able to pick it up right away @ 6 weeks 4 days & it was 136! I know baby is very tiny so I'm not worried if we can't find it just wondering how many people out there use them in how many weeks were you?

I bought one and made myself promise I wouldn't try till 12 weeks, but I used it anyways at 10w 2d and it took me an hour, but I found the heartbeat! It was 173 😊

Today I am 11 week exact.. last week at my appointment my midwife wasn't able to find the heartbeat on the Doppler.. she told me to come back the following week. Yesterday she found the heartbeat towards the left side, so when I get my doppler I know where to look.

I find my baby's heart beat on my Doppler every day and I'm 10 weeks :)

Hey ladies, so last night me & my husband did it again all the way down near the pelvis bone & BAM we found it, it was amazing and so fast it was able to pick up on the doppler because it was so faint but glad I know where baby is now! Thanks ladies! Also this chart was the one to help out a lot

I found the heartbeat at 9 weeks for this pregnancy and my previous. You just have to put the Doppler closer to your pubic bone. (Very low)  takes a while but you can hear it.

Ultrasounds are easier because they get a line to line up with the heart they can see we have to play a guessing game. Start at your belly button and go right down to your pelvis bone. Should be able to find it but usually aroun 10 weeks you can easier when baby has moved up from tucking away behind your pelvis.

She told me not to even try until at least 12 weeks. That's when they will stop doing vaginal ultrasounds and starts with abdominal!
