Birth control advice
I'm about to get married & my future hubs and I DONT want kids for at least 5 years. We aren't sexually active right now and I've never been on birth control. My body is sensitive to hormones/chemicals and so my fiancé is worried that birth control will have negative or long term side effects on me.
We also aren't sure how effective condoms are, or also if it kills the mood to have to stop and put a condom on. Also at what point do you put the condom on? Right before he ejaculates, or as soon as he is hard enough to put it on?
I asked my obgyn about an IUD but she said if you are a virgin you can't insert the IUD deep enough so I should wait until after a few months of having sex, but I feel like it's too risky to go 3 months without some form of birth control.
Please help us virgins lol.
I don't want to ask my friends because it's awkward.. but since I don't know y'all I figured I might get unbiased advice.
Ps this is why sex-ed should be taught in schools because we have no idea what we are doing & we definitely don't want kids.
