When are you telling family that you're pregnant?

I'm very close with my aunts and uncles and grandparents and would like to tell them when I see them this weekend (I'll be 8 weeks) but I'm wondering if it's too early...

We told our family around 5 weeks and then won't tell everyone else til 12 😁

I answered too fast. We've already told family. 
Told parents day after we found out. Siblings that same week. Then we told extended family at the next family functions around 8 weeks. 
We'll announce it publicly after 12 weeks.

Well I planned on waiting till 12 weeks.  But the day I found out I was pregnant we were at a wedding so my husband (after filling with alcohol) spilled the beans after about 4hrs. So most his family knew the day we did.   This was a Saturday, I waited till Monday after doctor confirmation to tell my parents and my two best friends.   Got to hear heartbeat at 10 weeks 6 days so the following day (at 11 weeks) I publicly announced it.

We told our family immediately after finding out. Even before we went to the doctor. But we only told the family that we're close to. All the distant relatives & friends will find out at 12 weeks or later depending when my next appointment is. I have an appointment next week but ill only be 10 weeks & there's no plans to do another ultrasound so the next appointment we get an ultrasound done will be when we announce it to everyone else 😊

We told our parents when we took the test but we are waiting to tell other people until we have out first appointment ( @13 weeks) so we can hear the heartbeat and make sure everything is ok

I am waiting until after the first ultrasound when I can see/hear a heart beat. I had a miscarriage with my last pregnancy around 8-9 weeks. During the 8 week apt they could only find the sac and I was measuring only 5+ weeks. I'm glad I waited and hadn't told my family yet. Hopefully this one will be different and I'll get to see the peanut. If I do, and everything looks good, I will then share with my family and friends.
